I scheduled a Berlin MD tour. Went to a restaurant the night before and my friend became seriously ill w/food poisoning. I called Chesapeake first thing in the a.m. to let them know we could not make it. I wasn't necessarily expecting a refund...but was expecting a partial refund (deposit loss), or, (at the very least) expecting to be able to reschedule for another tour. Bottom line, they said no, and charged me full price for both tickets. NOT good customer service. I live in OC MD and will NOT recommend them to my visiting guests.
Great stories, guides are knowledgeable.
Our guide lacked story telling skills and the ability to lead us in the right direction. I'm oustounded I payed 18$ to walk around downtown Berlin. The story's lacked details and it was almost impossible to stay entertained just staring at buildings that these women claimed were haunted. End of story Not worth the money
My husband and I have been in several of these tours. They were fun and informative. The history of each location has been well researched and the guides have been excellent. We look forward to our next tour of Furnacetown.
